Sky’s eight episode flagship creation Curfew is gas-fuelled, full throttle sci-fi/zombie/horror mash up that references Death Race 2000, The Fast And Furious and 28 Days Later all with a synth-heavy score tinged with 80’s retro.
Produced by Tiger Aspect, Curfew is a return collaboration with director Colm McCarthy (Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror) with whom I’ve enjoyed working with over the years. (Hustle 2004, Murphy’s Law (2006), Injustice (2008). I collaborated with electronic music guru Amon Tobin on a number of tracks and had great fun scoring this analog synth-heavy electronic score with much use of the modular wall plus vintage flavours from the Arp 2600, OBXA, Prophet and a family of Moogs: a System 35, Minimoog and the new Moog One.
Curfew is one of the first UK TV shows to boast a transmedia element with a VR experience available for Occulus Rift.
